🐂 Two Lives Rescued from the Slaughterhouse, Given a New Beginning with a Family of Blind Persons

Case: The Family of Mr. A-isoh Sotaloh, a person with visual impairment

The Foundation for Children and Persons with Disabilities would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to an anonymous kind-hearted donor who generously sponsored the rescue of two breeding cows from a slaughterhouse.

The two cows have been given a new beginning and will be transferred to the family of Mr. A-isoh Sotaloh, a person with visual impairment, in Pattani Province, providing the family with livelihood capital to raise cattle under a sustainable agricultural approach inspired by the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.

The goal is to help the family generate income, become more self-reliant, and build a sustainable livelihood for themselves and their family.

🌾 “Promoting Livelihoods for Persons with Disabilities and People in Need: Building Potential for an Inclusive Society”

Through this project, the Foundation provides high-quality breeding cows as livelihood capital for selected persons with disabilities and families in need, in accordance with the donors’ intentions.

The initiative combines animal rescue with sustainable livelihood development—giving animals a second chance while creating opportunities for families to build their own source of income.

Beneficiaries receive the cows under a five-year livestock-for-production agreement, with conditions prohibiting the slaughter, sale, relocation, or transfer of ownership of the animals.

The Foundation believes that:

“A livelihood is not only a means of generating income; having a livelihood also creates value and dignity for oneself.”

Providing livelihood capital is therefore a sustainable form of support. With an opportunity to earn a living, persons with disabilities and families in need can improve their quality of life and move toward greater self-reliance and a more secure future.
