Mr. Ekkamon Phaetyanan, President of the Foundation for Children and Disabled Persons, and Ms. Ratchadaporn Phothong, Director and Secretary of the Foundation, together with the team, visited Chiang Mai (Doi Taeng District) to observe an organic butterfly pea flower farm operated by visually impaired farmer Nong Fah (Mr. Jakkrit).

During the visit, the team observed harvesting processes, storage for fresh and dried sales, and food processing applications. This visit aimed to study the feasibility of various operational models and discuss future development pathways toward sustainability, with the goal of promoting alternative careers for blind farmers in mountain communities.

The Foundation also provided financial support to visually impaired farmers interested in organic butterfly pea cultivation.

🙏 The Foundation would like to sincerely thank Mr. Thaphat Luecha, advisor of the Chiang Mai Union of the Blind Association, for facilitating the field visit and supporting engagement with blind communities in the mountain areas.
