Mr. Ekkamon Phettayanan, Chairman of the Foundation for Children and the Disabled, together with the Board of Directors and staff, organized a major merit-making event on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the Foundation, in collaboration with all kind-hearted donors.
The activity involved redeeming 3 pairs of breeding buffaloes and cows from slaughterhouses, saving them from a painful death, and preparing to transfer them to blind farming families in Khon Kaen Province. These animals will serve as capital for sustainable livelihood and income generation.
May the merit from redeeming these cattle and buffaloes bring you longevity, freedom from suffering and illness, physical strength, and be respected and blessed in all realms… Sādhu.

Project: “Promoting Careers for Persons with Disabilities and the Underprivileged, Developing Potential toward Society”
This initiative supports livelihood development by providing breeding cows as productive assets for persons with disabilities and the underprivileged, in line with donors’ intentions. It aims to create great merit by saving animals from imminent death and extending their lives while returning them to a natural cycle that benefits selected farmers under a 5-year loan agreement with strict conditions: no slaughtering, no selling, no relocation, and no transfer of ownership.
The Foundation recognizes that “a career is not only about income, but also about creating self-worth.” Providing career capital is therefore a sustainable form of assistance, as it enables persons with disabilities and the underprivileged to achieve better quality of life and become self-reliant.
