Mr. Ekkamon Phaetyanan, President of the Foundation for Children and Disabled Persons, together with the Foundation’s directors and team members, joined hands with generous donors in a major merit-making activity by redeeming the lives of one pair of cows from slaughter, saving them from a painful death. The cows will be delivered to a blind farming family in Khon Kaen to serve as a sustainable source of income and support for their livelihood.

“Career Promotion for Persons with Disabilities and the Underprivileged: Empowering Potential for Society”

This project supports career opportunities for persons with disabilities and underprivileged individuals through cattle and buffalo farming by providing quality breeding cows as livelihood capital, in accordance with the wishes of donors. The initiative aims to create great merit by saving animals from immediate death, allowing them to return to a natural way of life while also benefiting selected farmers who agree to the Foundation’s production loan conditions for a period of five years. The animals must not be slaughtered, sold, relocated, or transferred in ownership.

The Foundation firmly believes that “a career is not only a source of income, but also a way to create self-worth.” Providing livelihood opportunities is therefore considered a sustainable form of assistance for persons with disabilities and those in need, as stable employment can improve their quality of life and enable self-reliance.
