The Foundation for Children and Disabled Persons is pleased to present the completion of a new, safe, and stable home for Grandma Pae Chongkhophadung in Chiang Mai.
We would like to warmly congratulate Grandma Pae on her new home.
ð The Foundation also extends heartfelt thanks to all generous supporters, as well as teachers, local authorities, and volunteers who joined hands in building this new house together.
......
Case background: Grandma Pae Chongkhophadung, 82 years old, lives alone in Yang Piang Subdistrict, Omkoi District, Chiang Mai. Her husband has passed away, and she suffers from asthma, a hunched back, and mobility difficulties requiring ongoing medical care. She survives on an elderly allowance and the kindness of local villagers.
Her previous home was a simple shelter with severely deteriorated flooring, leaking roof, and unsafe structure. Most importantly, the house had no bathroom.
