An elderly woman who refuses to surrender to fateâĶ
The Foundation for Children and Persons with Disabilities has been following the case of 80-year-old Grandma Nee, who has vision problems and can only see dimly. Despite this, every day she continues to walk around carrying bags of fertilizer to collect recyclable materials to sell in order to support herself and her partner, Uncle Dee, who is deaf and disabled. The couple lives together alone in a small house beside the railway in Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
This time, Mr. Ekkamon Patthananan, President of the Foundation for Children and Persons with Disabilities, together with Ms. Ratchadaporn Photong, Board Member and Secretary of the Foundation, visited Grandma Nee and Uncle Dee at their home to assess their living conditions and health. They also provided assistance in the form of living support funds, medical expenses, rice, dry food, medicine, and essential supplies to help ease their hardship and ensure they have enough food and proper nutrition throughout the month.
